"Unfortunately Google Play Store has stopped working" [Fixed]

If you are any regular Android OS user then you must have come across the “Unfortunately, The App has Stopped” Problem at some point of time for sure. This can happen due to many reasons some which are insufficient space on the device, malware, corrupt files, incompatible versions etc. What happens is that when you execute the app then it gets closed automatically. We have made this simple guide to help you with taking certain steps that can resolve the problem of the app not working. This guide is made specifically for Google Play App but you can use the steps for other apps for sure.

#1. Try Clearing the Cache Memory
Go to Settings>App Manager>All Apps> Google Playstore
Now press the “Force Stop” button to close the app and then the “Clear Data” button.
You have cleared the cache of Google Playstore app now, try opening it again and it should work now. If it doesn’t then head on to the next solution.

#2. Try Restarting the Device
You can alternately try restarting your device and sometimes it is helpful as useless image data gets wiped out when the device is restarted.

#3. Factory Reset
Factory resetting your device might solve the problem with better probability but don’t forget to take backups of your important data before doing this.

I hope your problem was solved and now you are able to use the Google Playstore app without any problem.
